Promoted by UNESCO, the Conference will bring together Ministers of Culture and Education from around the world to adopt a Framework for Cultural and Arts Education (Abu Dhabi Framework for Cultural and Arts Education). The World Conference will also bring together relevant United Nations agencies, intergovernmental organizations UNESCO networks, and partners in the field of culture and education to share innovative practices and ideas, as well as strengthen a global alliance for culture and education. artistic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On this occasion, the efforts made by the Reconnecting With Your Culture program, from the international research center Esempi di Archietttura EdA and the UNESCO Chair Universitat Polit\u00e8cnica de Val\u00e8ncia UPV, in alliance with the \u201cTejido Diagonal\u201d Architecture office, have developed in together a process of pedagogy and artistic and urban creation, for children and young people from all over the world. This task has found a parallel path to the UIA Architecture and Child Labor Program, who seek to promote and support urgent actions and the development of education in built environments (BEE)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The activities and processes carried out by the Reconnecting With Your Culture program and its allies have focused on promoting culture as a basis for teaching and appropriation by children of their cultural heritage. These experiences have been created taking into account the scope of the SDGs of Quality education and from the perspective of the RWYC program, an education of equity. SDG 10 Reduced inequalities and cultural access to all populations and SDG 11 Sustainable cities and communities, achieving a sustainable future from the appropriation of the local culture of each community around the world. Experiences that have generated a new seed around the world, seeking to create a century for culture!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The experiences carried out have been managed and coordinated by architects and educators committed to providing education about the built environment to children and young people. Like the UIA, Reconnecting with your Culture finds responsibility in us as professionals, we owe it to these future participants to create an optimal built environment open to the community we share.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
